Debuting in 2025 with the Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph (RD#5), the Audemars Piguet calibre 8100 integrates a flyback chronograph and flying tourbillon into an ultra-thin profile. It utilizes a column wheel, vertical clutch, and patented reset mechanism, with a symmetrical layout featuring counters at 3 and 9 o'clock and the tourbillon at 6 o'clock. The movement is finished to high horological standards and is viewable via a sapphire caseback.
