As the inaugural movement from Chopard Manufacture, the L.U.C Calibre 96.01-L marks the brand's return to elite Haute Horlogerie, winning the 1997 Watch of the Year award for its 3.30 mm ultra-thin profile. Featuring L.U.C Twin technology, it provides a 65-hour power reserve via a 22-carat gold micro-rotor and includes a Phillips terminal curve balance spring. Its high-quality decoration earns it the Poinçon de Genève hallmark, and it serves as the foundation for approximately ten other movements.
