The Senator Diary is powered by the Glashütte Original caliber 100-13, a movement integrating the caliber 100-03 with a sophisticated 340-component appointment module for a total of 631 parts, nearly all manufactured and assembled in-house. This engineering marvel allows for appointments to be set beyond month-end, automatically syncing the alarm without manual adjustment, while an integrated third spring barrel maintains the alarm's power reserve. The movement is finished to high standards, featuring a split three-quarter plate with Glashütte ribbing, polished steel, chamfered edges, and blued screws, all visible via the sapphire crystal case back.
