The in-house automatic HMC 230 calibre measures 30.0 mm in diameter and 4.7 mm in height, with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. It utilizes a bidirectional pawl winding mechanism and features a rotor engraved with the H. Moser & Cie. hallmark in red gold. The movement provides at least three days of power reserve, includes a hacking seconds function, and incorporates an original Straumann Hairspring®.
