Part of the 94000-calibre family, the IWC-manufactured 94805 calibre is a hand-wound movement featuring a tourbillon escapement. A patented constant force mechanism integrated into the tourbillon maintains consistent balance amplitude, marked by 1-second jumps; once 48 hours have elapsed, the mechanism decouples, and the tourbillon shifts to 1/5th-second intervals. Additional features include a 96-hour power reserve, a double moonphase display, and a day/night indication.
