The IWC 98300 calibre is nearly identical to the 98295, modified with a taller cannon pinion to accommodate the thicker dial of the Vintage Collection Pilot's Watch. While the movement height remains unchanged, this adjustment was necessary to suit the specific case design of the Pilot (IW3254) compared to the Portuguese (IW5445).
