A skeletonized movement built upon the 8500 architecture, the OMEGA 8402 is a self-winding chronometer with a Co-Axial escapement. It incorporates a free-sprung balance with a Si14 silicon hairspring, dual series-mounted barrels, and bidirectional automatic winding. The movement features hand-assembled and beveled skeletonized bridges and plates, with an 18 Ct red gold balance bridge, oscillating mass, and galvanic-plated gear train wheels, providing a 60-hour power reserve.
