The Omega caliber 8914 is a self-winding mechanical movement with a Co-Axial escapement, powering central hour and minute hands along with a time-zone feature. Beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour, it employs a free-sprung balance with a silicon hairspring, dual series-mounted mainspring barrels, and bidirectional automatic winding. Certified as a METAS Master Chronometer, it resists magnetic fields to 15,000 gauss and features a rhodium-plated rotor and balance bridge with Geneva waves in arabesque and an engraved Constellation Observatory emblem.
