The P.2004 is the first chronograph movement developed by the Panerai Manufacture, blending traditional mechanics with sports watch utility. This hand-wound movement offers an 8-day power reserve and a single-button column wheel chronograph, with the pusher located at 8 o'clock to preserve the Luminor crown guard's aesthetic. It features central chronograph seconds, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, GMT functionality, and a finished structure visible through the case back; as of 2018, it contains 30 jewels.
