Entirely manufactured by Panerai, the P.3000 calibre is known for its robust three-quarter plate design, featuring a large and small bridge secured by heavy screws for structural rigidity. Equipped with 21 jewels and twin series-connected barrels, it provides a 3-day power reserve through long, thin springs. The 13.2mm variable inertia balance wheel features four external adjusting screws and a twin-support bridge, oscillating at 3 Hz with an Incabloc device and free-sprung construction. It includes a rapid hour-adjustment system and, in the P.3000/1 version, a small seconds display at 9 o'clock.
