Conceived, engineered, and manufactured at the Officine Panerai facility in Neuchâtel, the hand-wound P.3001 caliber embodies the core Panerai standards of performance, durability, and precision. Measuring 6.3 mm thick with a 16½ ligne diameter, its dimensions honor the historic movements of early Panerai timepieces. The movement features a three-quarter plate architecture with a large bridge and a smaller bridge secured by robust screws for enhanced rigidity, 21 jewels, and dual series-connected spring barrels. It includes a case-back power reserve indicator and may optionally feature date or GMT displays, with component counts adjusting based on the specific dial functions.
