A specialized 8 x 2.3 mm microgenerator converts mechanical energy into electricity, using custom coils, magnets, and a stator to drive a high-speed rotor at 80 revolutions per second; this produces a 240 Hz signal to illuminate 160 micro-LEDs across the dial, hands, and bezel, representing a highly optimized engineering solution.
