Utilizing a Nouvelle Lemania ebauche, the CH 27-70 Q powered the classic 3970 and 5970 references, while the rattrapante version (CHR 27-70 Q) was featured in the 5004. This was the final Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph movement produced before the transition to fully in-house calibers, and it employs a column wheel.
