Calibre 3180 is a self-winding mechanical movement designed and manufactured entirely by Rolex. It utilizes a Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers for increased resilience against shocks and environmental extremes. Certified as a Swiss chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), it shares the reliable architecture common to all Oyster movements. The 3180 displays two time zones at once and includes a sophisticated sun and moon day/night indicator within a sub-dial aperture.
