The P.9010 caliber succeeds the P.9000, offering a thinner profile and a balance bridge with dual supports. Developed at the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel, this automatic movement displays central hours and minutes, small seconds at 9 o'clock, and a date at 3 o'clock. Two spring barrels, wound by a bidirectional oscillating weight, provide a three-day power reserve. Comprising 200 parts and 31 jewels, the 13¾ ligne movement is 6 mm thick and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It includes a stop-seconds function for precise synchronization and an hour-hand adjustment mechanism that allows independent movement in one-hour increments, which also updates the date.
